Camping Moulin des Jarasses

With two lovely heated pools surrounded by a sun terrace, there is always a place to soak up the sun. The pools are safely fenced, so little ones can splash in the water without worry. For the little ones, there is a special paddling pool, where they can play and splash safely. La Noisette, a single-high pond in the campground, is ideal for playing with water. Adults can cast a rod in the fenced fishing pond.

Children can expend their energy on the trampolines and playground equipment scattered throughout the campground. There is even an animal pasture where they can meet different animals. For the adventurous little ones, go-karts, scooters and bicycles are available.

The campground also offers various activities for young and old. Every Monday Dutch forester Rob takes guests on a discovery tour in the adjacent primeval forest. This unique adventure is a great way to learn more about nature and local wildlife. ’in the evenings you can join the cozy table d’hôte, where you can enjoy delicious meals and make new friends.

For fishing and swimming opportunities, visit one of the many lakes in the area, such as the beautiful Lac de Vassivière with the enchanting île de Vassivière.

Visit the exciting theme park Vulcania, where you will learn all about volcanoes, or explore the fascinating wolf park and the huge labyrinth. For adventurers, there is a park where you can hike over the tops of tall trees – an unforgettable experience for young and old.

For children, there are countless activities: build dams, play in the river, play hide-and-seek in the forest, or build caves and huts. The Creuse is also known for its flea markets and farmers' markets. Nearby, in Le Theil, you can admire and buy antiques in an old church run by a friendly French/English couple.

Just a 20-minute drive away is festival site La Naute, with many activities and concerts. Here you can swim in the lake and enjoy a snack or drink. Or explore the impressive chain of 66 volcanoes at Puy-de-Dôme, and take the new little train to the top for spectacular views.

The nearby city of Clermont-Ferrand offers a modern atmosphere with cozy terraces, perfect for a relaxing day out. In the De Coux Natural Park you can hike, spot deer, and even rent a pony for a day trip.
