Halkidiki is located in the north of Greece and consists of a central part and 3 peninsulas: Kassandra, Sithonia and Athos. Sithonia in particular still breathes the real Greece, with lots of green, authentic villages and a coastline with numerous beaches.

Things to see and do on Halkidiki

Most of the beaches gently slope into the sea, which is ideal for families with young children. Halkidiki has many types of beaches. Rocky beaches, pebble beaches and sandy beaches alternate.

Not only sun, sea and beach lovers get their money's worth here, also lovers of culture, water sports and fine wines are well catered for here. Sithonia is actually a large nature reserve, and therefore also ideal for mountain bikers and hikers.

Although Halkidikiis not yet well known, it has been on the rise in recent years. And it is only a little more than a 3 hour flight from London!
