In the heart of the Camargue, within walking distance of the famous gypsy town of Saintes Maries de la Mer, is camping de la Brise. The combination of its location right on the beach, its nice pool with slide and the short distance to a pleasant town make this campsite a wonderful holiday destination.

Water recreation camping la Brise de Camargue

Water lovers won't be short of anything here! The pool consists of a deep pool, a children's pool and a water playground. There is also a long slide for hours of fun. Are you more of a beach and sea lover? Near the campsite, you will find a sandy beach, ideal for children as the sea only slowly deepens here. In one of the beach bars, you can always get a cool drink. A little further away are more long wide sandy beaches as far as you can see! In Saintes Maries de la Mer you will find a sailing school, where you can also rent pedal boats and surfboards.

Facilities camping la Brise de Camargue

Camping la Brise de Camargue is a campsite without too many or extensive facilities. Of course there is a store and a snack bar, but that's all you really need because in Saintes Maries de la Mer you will find many different stores and restaurants. You can eat out somewhere different every day of your vacation in this charming town. The campground does have a very nice and new children's playground with wooden climbing equipment, and a multi-sports field or outdoor fitness if you want to be sporty. Entertainment for children aged 6-12 is provided in July and August. Children find the scavenger hunt or an afternoon of eating crepes with their new French friends the most fun activities! In the evening there is also regularly something to do for young and old.

Near Camping la Brise de Camargue

The Camargue is a world-famous nature reserve, known for its wild horses and pink flamingos. From the campsite, you can walk straight into this natural park. Of course, it is even more fun to explore the Camargue on horseback. There are numerous riding schools in the immediate vicinity where you can make beautiful trips under supervision, for both beginners and advanced riders. Saintes Maries de la Mer is known as a pilgrimage site for gypsies. In May, they come here in large numbers. The church of Sainte Maries is well worth a visit, especially the roof. Also fun to visit is a manade, a bull farm where you can experience the traditions of the Camargue.
