Camping Le Zagarella

The heart of camping Zagarella is certainly the wonderful water park, where the older children can enjoy hours of fun on the slides. For the little ones there is a separate children's pool with a nice playground, also with slides. If the weather is not so good, but you still want to have a swim, you can go to the indoor swimming pool, where you can soak up the bubbles in the jacuzzi. You can rent bikes at the campsite. From the campsite there is a bike path in the shade of the pine trees to the beach, but if you leave before 11.00 am, there are also more than enough parking spaces at the beach.

Sports, games and entertainment are available for children from 4 to 12 years old and for teenagers, but mainly in French. For the children there is a nice playground. A game of beach volleyball, football or basketball can be played on the multi-sports ground, and for the more sporty, the tennis courts are available, or you can try your hand at the fitness centre. After all this exercise, a drink on the terrace is more than welcome of course, or you can get some chips for a dinner in your mobile home. Afterwards, you'll come and have a look at the evening entertainment, won't you? In high season there is something to do every night, such as a magician or disco. At 23.00 hours it is quiet on the campsite. There is a small shop for daily shopping and in the immediate vicinity are several large supermarkets.

The Vendée coastline is very suitable for families with young children and is also very touristy. Nice places to visit include Saint Hilaire de Riez, St. Gilles de Croix and Les Sables d'Olonne. In the nearby St. Jean-de-Monts are nice restaurants and shops. On the beach is always something to see or do, such as kite surfing. Cycling in this area is easy to do, there are many bike paths and marked cycling. Or take the boat from Fromentine to the Ile-d'Yeu (30 minutes) and rent bikes there. The children will love Le Puy du Fou (1.5 hours drive), an amusement park about the history, with great shows about knights, the Romans and much more!
