Swimming facilities at Donnersberg campsite

A chemical-free swimming pool provides the necessary water fun, as does the recreational lake with play equipment. You can also go surfing and canoeing here. The outdoor playground offers hours if not days of entertainment. This campsite near Mannheim is beautifully located, so while swimming don't forget to look around you at the green, rolling hills.

Facilities at Donnersberg campsite

Various outdoor activities are available at this campsite in Rheinland-Pfalz. Raft building, mountain biking, survival nights and trips for young and old, but a quiet walk or bike ride is also possible - after all, you are on a camping holiday. Do bring binoculars, as this region is famous for its flora and fauna. Back at the campsite, enjoy the convenience of the sandwich service and several restaurants within walking distance. Ask for local wine on the terrace.

Surroundings of camping Donnersberg

You alternate history, culture and sports activities with your well-earned rest, all against a wonderful backdrop. Climb and scramble in the Kletterwald, near the town of Spiers where the world-famous adventure of Crusade in Jeans begins. Kurpfalz-Park is also recommended for families. A day of shopping? Visit Kaiserslautern or the already mentioned Mannheim. Moderately interesting are Germany's oldest cities: Worms and Trier. The Rhine is the eye-catcher on which you might take a boat trip alone and sing the famous song.
