A day out makes your camping holiday complete. In the beautiful city of Patras, visit the Odeum, the archaeological museum, and the fortress and wander the shopping streets. A 15-minute drive away you will find children's paradise Ippokamilos and the educational amusement park Legends of Greek Mythology. Venture into the rich nature of Kotychi-Strofylia National Park and spot turtles, kingfishers, and ibises. The Rio-Antirrio bridge between the Peloponnese and the Greek mainland, completed in 2004, is another modern feat of engineering and a ride on the Odontotos train near Kalavrita is also a must.
