An outdoor swimming pool is available at this campsite in Bijela, a pretty coastal town where there is also an indoor pool a 200 metre walk away. You also have direct access to the sea, whose glistening water can be seen from just about anywhere on the campsite. Hire a (sailing) boat or surfboard, jump into the refreshing water, go diving/snorkeling or take a seat on the sandy beach. The hills surrounding the bay form the idyllic backdrop.

While the children romp around in the playground, get your bats out for a table tennis tournament or venture onto the volleyball court. The green hills invite you to rent bikes at reception. A day of relaxing in the sun is also a good idea: a restaurant and snack bar are available and a short walk will take you to the supermarket. Score local specialties here, because a camping holiday is not complete without new culinary discoveries.

In attractive Herceg Novi, you will find three castles and the Turkish Kanli Tower, as well as a special bell tower. Visit the wonderful Blue Cave near Budva. Another must with children is a cruise on the Bay of Kotor in a semi-submarine or a boat trip to the Lustica peninsula. A 1.5-hour drive beckons the famous Croatian port city of Dubrovnik.
