It is possible to bring your boat, the campsite has moorings available. Please book in advance. At the campsite, you can rent bicycles to explore the wide surroundings with its many panoramic views. Of course, you can also have fun enjoying a drink on a terrace in the cosy village of Sloten. Other interesting day trips are the Ir.D.F. Woudagemaal (Unesco World Heritage!) in Lemmer, the Fries Scheepvaartmuseum in Sneek, or the Joure Museum where the famous Douwe Egberts coffee factory started. In this fun museum, children can get to make things themselves.
